Compost with us.

Drop off food scraps for composting in the brown bins located outside of our gate anytime, year-round.

We accept: Food waste, including egg shells and coffee grounds.

We do not accept: Garden weeds, meat, dairy, fish, cooking oil, compostable plastic, wax-coated or adhesive paper.

We also partner with local restaurants and local brewery Bright Eye Beer Co., collecting their spent brewing grains and hops, as part of one of New York City’s only fully-functional closed-loop organic waste initiatives. Contact us to learn more, or to get involved.
