For our next dinner the chef, Isabella Scott just happens to be the founder of the new Rockaway Dye Garden at Edgemere Farm. Drawing on her knowledge of natural dyes and to showcase the pigmentation powers of the vegetables and fruit we love, Isabella is serving an all red-and-pink dinner in honor of Valentine's Day. And yes, your attire should reflect the color theme.
Worried that you won't have access to seasonal, local vegetables during the cold winter months? We got you covered! We're partnering up with the Corbin Hill Food Project and Arts in Parts to bring a winter CSA to members of the Rockaway community. To learn more, check out our CSA page.

Please stop by our last farm stand of the season, this Saturday November 22nd. We'll have all your favorite fall vegetables, fresh bread from Arts in Parts, and everyone's favorite, Rockaway Herbs. We'd love to see you before the winter chill officially sets in.

For New York City's Honey Week - a weeklong citywide celebration of the honeybee - Edgemere Farm is throwing a honey-glazed pig roast! The chefs, Matthew Fleming and St. John Frizell of Red Hook's Fort Defiance, will be slow cooking a Fleisher's Meats pig in a cuban smoke box right on the farm. Simply put, you do NOT want to miss it.
